Fourth grade students will be using novels as opposed to a standard textbook for Reading class. Attendance is very important. Students may easily get behind if they miss class or come in tardy. In case of an absence, the student will be allowed to take the novel home with the expectation that it be returned to me the next school day. Each of the two fourth grade classes will be sharing the novel. If it isn’t returned to school promptly, then I will not have the correct number of novels to share with my students. Below is a list of the novels in the order that we will be reading in class this year. Please feel free to read with your child if you have the novels available to you. I am excited to have your child in class and am looking forward to a wonderful year!
